Welcome to Fae Cafe

Description

On a cozy fall morning in Toronto, Kate Kole’s quiet reading time at a coffee shop turns deadly when she accidentally kills a fae assassin—only to discover that the fae world has rules, consequences, and a very personal sense of justice. As four assassins cross into the human realm to hunt her down, their mission collides with an unexpected assignment: running Kate’s café and blending in with everyday life, from cleaning up messes to surviving book club without starting a feud. Led by the feared Prince Cressica Alabastian, the hunt becomes a pressure-cooker of fae trickery, darkly comic danger, and reluctant attraction that neither side can fully control. With a rom-com heart and slice-of-life charm set against manipulative fairy games, this story explores power, belonging, and the thin line between hospitality and harm.
