Description
After his brother, FDNY firefighter Stephen Siller, gave his life trying to reach the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, Frank Siller and his family made a promise to honor his sacrifice through service. This moving memoir traces the creation and growth of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, showing how ordinary citizens, public figures, and businesses joined a mission to support fallen first responders, injured veterans, and military families. Through stories of mortgage-free homes, specially designed residences, and vital assistance for veterans experiencing homelessness, the book explores faith, family, generosity, and the transformative power of collective action. It is an inspiring testament to turning profound grief into enduring purpose—and to the good that can emerge when a community chooses to remember by serving others.
