Description
Electric Arches is a searing, lyrical collection that traces how Black life, labor, and imagination move through the electric infrastructure of the modern world. Across essays and poems, the book follows the afterlives of power—who gets connected, who is left in the dark, and how communities build new forms of resistance and care. With sharp cultural critique and inventive language, it explores themes of technology and inequality, memory and futurity, and the politics of visibility. Eve L. Ewing’s distinctive voice blends scholarship, storytelling, and poetic intensity to illuminate the charged spaces where history meets possibility.
