Description

In a world where appearance can feel like destiny, Skin explores what lies beneath the surface—how identity, vulnerability, and self-worth are shaped by the stories we tell about our bodies. Through intimate, character-driven moments, the book follows individuals navigating pressure, judgment, and the quiet resilience required to reclaim agency over how they’re seen. Blending emotional realism with sharp social observation, it examines themes of beauty standards, belonging, and the ways trauma and healing can be carried in plain sight. With a voice that’s both incisive and compassionate, Skin invites readers to look closer—at themselves and at one another—without flinching.

it really was like 4 pages of plot and like 50 pages up straight up fucking. but also characterization that’s critical info for the next book that conceptualizes who they are and what they mean to each other. so NO author vice, we cannot read one without the other lmfao
