Description
In a world where memory can be stored, retrieved, and weaponized, a lone archivist discovers that the records she safeguards are not merely historical—they are alive, hungry, and determined to rewrite the future. As she uncovers the truth behind an “undying” archive that refuses to stay buried, she must navigate shifting loyalties, hidden identities, and the moral cost of preserving what should be forgotten. Blending speculative intrigue with intimate character stakes, this novel explores themes of truth versus control, the ethics of remembrance, and how power operates through information. With Emma Mieko Candon’s sharp, atmospheric storytelling and emotionally resonant voice, the story builds toward a tense reckoning about what it means to keep a past that won’t let go.
