An Elderly Lady Is Up to No Good
Description
Meet Maud, an 88-year-old Swedish woman living a solitary life in her spacious Gothenburg apartment, a life she meticulously maintains with a surprising lack of conventional social ties. Though seemingly content with her quiet routine of travel and online exploration, Maud possesses a sharp wit and a pragmatic approach to life's inconveniences, which sometimes involve extreme measures. This collection of darkly humorous tales follows Maud as she navigates unexpected challenges, from dealing with opportunistic neighbors to confronting figures from her past, always with a resourceful and often lethal ingenuity. As bodies begin to pile up, Maud's carefully constructed world is put to the test, revealing the audacious spirit of a woman who is far from ready to fade away.
