Description
A young woman named Luz begins to question the carefully constructed story of her childhood and embarks on a search for the truth about her origins. Her investigation leads into the painful legacy of Argentina’s military dictatorship, where the disappearance of political opponents and the theft of children have left families fractured across generations. Moving between personal memory, testimony, and historical trauma, the novel explores identity, truth, justice, and the enduring power of love and resistance. Elsa Osorio’s emotionally compelling storytelling gives intimate human form to a dark chapter of Argentine history.
