I'm a huge fan of Jesse Sutanto and almost always loved her work, but this book really fell short for me. It didn’t feel like her usual writing style, and that spark I’ve come to expect just wasn’t there. The plot had so much potential, but it felt like it tried to tackle too many serious themes like bullying, drug abuse, peer pressure all at once, and unfortunately, none of them were developed deeply enough to leave an impact.
