When I Grow Up I Want to Be a List of Further Possibilities

by Chen Chen

Description

A child’s imagination becomes a living map of “what could be,” turning everyday questions about growing up into a joyful exploration of possibility. Through a series of playful, open-ended moments, the book invites readers to consider how identity is shaped not by fixed answers, but by curiosity, creativity, and the freedom to change. With its lyrical, accessible storytelling, it celebrates the many paths we might take—whether they look familiar or entirely new. At its heart, this is a warm meditation on choice and self-discovery, encouraging readers to embrace uncertainty as part of becoming.
