Description
Separated from her mother during a terrifying night raid, a young fruit bat named Stellaluna finds herself alone and afraid. She is discovered and adopted by a kind bird family, who teach her their ways of living, sleeping in a nest, and eating worms. Stellaluna struggles to fit in, as her natural instincts as a bat clash with the birds' customs. This heartwarming tale explores themes of belonging, acceptance, and the beauty of embracing differences, all told in Janell Cannon's signature gentle and engaging style.
