Description
Dr. Yehia returns to the Abbasiya Mental Hospital after five years of self-imposed isolation, only to be met with a shocking surprise. In the notorious '8 West' ward, where the fates of criminals are decided, he encounters an old friend who brings with him a past Yehia has long tried to forget, placing his own destiny in Yehia's hands. What begins as an attempt to uncover his friend's truth quickly transforms into a thrilling journey of self-discovery, or what remains of it. Ahmed Mourad's third novel plunges readers into the depths of the human psyche, exploring its most peculiar and hidden corners.
