Description
A decade after the events of Trainspotting, Sick Boy returns to Edinburgh with an audacious new scheme: producing a pornographic film that promises to be his ticket to legitimacy and wealth. Reuniting with old associates—including Mark Renton, now running a club in Amsterdam, and the volatile Begbie, freshly released from prison—Sick Boy assembles an unlikely cast of characters to bring his vision to life, each harboring their own desperate ambitions and dangerous secrets. As the project spirals forward, alliances fracture, cons unravel, and the line between predator and prey blurs in a world where everyone is both hustler and mark. Irvine Welsh returns to his most iconic characters with unflinching dark humor and raw authenticity, capturing a crew still clawing for survival and redemption even as their schemes grow increasingly reckless. Porno is a visceral exploration of ambition, addiction, and the inescapable gravity of one's past.
