Description
In a world teetering on the brink of nuclear annihilation, a reclusive, stout man known only as Mole retreats into the earth, meticulously constructing a subterranean ark to shield himself from the impending doom. His obsessive preparations, driven by a profound dread of the unknown future, become a darkly comic exploration of control, isolation, and the human psyche under extreme pressure. As Mole’s meticulously planned survival unfolds, the narrative delves into the absurdities of fear and the desperate need for order in the face of chaos. This novel is a haunting, Kafkaesque journey into the heart of existential anxiety, questioning what it means to survive when the world as we know it is irrevocably lost.
