Description
On his birthday, Alex decides to hijack a familiar tale—Birthday Bunny—and remake it into something far more dramatic. What begins as a simple plan for a surprise party in the forest quickly escalates into an over-the-top showdown between a supervillain and his “enemies,” blurring the line between imagination and reality. With playful misdirection and fast, kid-friendly humor, the story explores how stories can be reshaped, how perspective changes meaning, and how celebration can hide in plain sight. Jon Scieszka’s signature energetic, irreverent storytelling invites readers to laugh, question what they’re hearing, and join the fun of turning ordinary moments into epic adventures.
