Dervla McTiernan

Twenty years after a tragic discovery, Detective Cormac Reilly finds himself drawn back into a past that refuses to stay buried. When Aisling Conroy's boyfriend is found dead, ruled a suicide, his sister Maude returns to Ireland, convinced foul play is involved and reopening old wounds. As Reilly investigates the suspicious death, he uncovers unsettling connections to a cold case from his own past, forcing him to confront a web of corruption and betrayal in a small Irish town. This gripping noir explores the dark underbelly of a community where trust is scarce and the lines between justice and law are blurred, questioning who will protect you when the system fails.
