Fourteen Days

Joseph D. Nirmaier

When an Iranian electromagnetic pulse attack plunges the United States into darkness, modern life vanishes in an instant, leaving communities without power, communication, reliable supplies, or law. In rural Wisconsin, prepared but shaken survivor JT Clarke and his companions struggle to protect their fragile refuge as waves of desperate refugees arrive from the cities and the rules of society rapidly unravel. With food, medicine, and safety growing scarce, the group must draw on practical knowledge, loyalty, courage, and hard choices to endure threats from both the landscape and their fellow survivors. This tense post-apocalyptic survival novel explores preparedness, community, moral compromise, and the thin line separating civilization from chaos.
