Fredrika Bergman and Alex Recht

Kristina Ohlsson

When a Boeing 747 bound for New York becomes the target of a bomb threat shortly after leaving Stockholm, Swedish authorities face a crisis unfolding thousands of feet in the air. Superintendent Alex Recht joins forces with counter-terrorism specialist Eden Lundell, while former investigator Fredrika Bergman returns to the police to help coordinate the desperate response. As the team works to uncover the hijacking’s hidden motives, they must navigate political pressure, international fear, and a rapidly shrinking window of time before the aircraft runs out of fuel. A tense, fast-paced thriller, the novel explores terrorism, public trust, and the moral complexities of crisis management.
