The Herdmans

Barbara Robinson

The annual Christmas pageant is thrown into chaos when the six rowdy Herdman siblings, notorious for their disruptive behavior, decide to take over. These children, who have never even heard the Christmas story before, suddenly find themselves cast as Mary, Joseph, and the Wise Men. What follows is a hilarious and heartwarming reimagining of the Nativity, as the pageant's usual participants grapple with the unexpected and the Herdman kids bring their unique brand of mayhem to the sacred story. This beloved classic explores themes of forgiveness, understanding, and the true spirit of Christmas, proving that even the most unlikely individuals can bring unexpected joy and meaning to the holiday.
