Irish Red (Big Red)

Jim Kjelgaard

Danny's life is forever changed the instant he lays eyes on a magnificent Irish setter, a dog as spirited and noble as he is beautiful. This remarkable dog, whom Danny names Red, quickly becomes his inseparable companion, sharing every adventure and facing every challenge together. Their bond is tested in the unforgiving Wintapi wilderness, a land of both breathtaking beauty and perilous dangers. Their greatest trial arrives in the form of Old Majesty, a cunning and formidable bear who reigns as the undisputed king of the forest, forcing Danny and Red to confront their deepest fears and prove the strength of their courage and loyalty.
