Karr Family Apocalypse

A.J. Newman

As the United States reels from nuclear and EMP attacks, the Karr family struggles to protect its refuge in a world where cities burn, the power grid has failed, and food and clean water are dangerously scarce. When several family members are arrested and sent to a FEMA camp, one determined relative undertakes a perilous rescue while the rest defend their land from desperate survivors streaming out of the cities. Their greatest threats may also come from within the authorities, as a corrupt senator and sheriff target the family’s crops, weapons, and property. Blending action, preparedness, family loyalty, and clashing political perspectives, this gripping post-apocalyptic survival story asks how far ordinary people will go to protect one another.
