Angélica Gorodischer

Trafalgar follows a young woman scientist whose curiosity draws her into an urgent, world-spanning effort to respond to an undeniable phenomenon—one that reshapes what she thought she knew about evidence, authority, and the limits of human understanding. Told through a sequence of sharply observed, sometimes almost surreal episodes, the narrative moves with the momentum of discovery, blending personal stakes with global consequences. Across these stories, the book explores themes of knowledge under pressure, the fragility of certainty, and the strange ways the extraordinary can arrive through ordinary lives. With Gorodischer’s distinctive, imaginative storytelling—equal parts intellectual and uncanny—Trafalgar turns the act of witnessing into a compelling, unsettling journey.
