Not Quite Narwhal and Friends

Jessie Sima

Born deep in the ocean, Kelp is a narwhal with a difference—one that makes him feel out of place among his own kind. When he spots a mysterious creature on land that seems to share his shape, he’s drawn into a journey of discovery that reveals the truth behind his uniqueness. Along the way, Kelp confronts questions of identity, belonging, and what it really means to be “like” someone else. With Jessie Sima’s warm, imaginative storytelling and playful sense of wonder, this charming tale turns a simple encounter into an uplifting celebration of self-acceptance.
