What if dogs could speak, reason, and feel the full spectrum of human emotion? Fifteen Dogs plunges into this extraordinary premise when a group of Toronto-based canines are inexplicably granted human consciousness by the gods Apollo and Hermes. This divine wager sets in motion a profound exploration of life, love, mortality, and the very nature of happiness as the dogs grapple with their newfound sentience. Through their unique perspectives, the novel delves into themes of friendship, betrayal, and the search for meaning in a world suddenly filled with complex desires and existential questions.
