James Stark, the antihero known as Sandman Slim, thought he'd seen it all after escaping Hell and exacting revenge. Now, he scrapes by taking on dangerous monster-hunting jobs in Los Angeles, a gig that barely covers his vices. But when Lucifer himself arrives to oversee his biopic and enlists Stark as his bodyguard, the stakes skyrocket into a deadly game of survival among the city's supernatural elite. As bodies begin to pile up and the dead refuse to stay buried, Stark finds himself facing an escalating threat that could redefine life, death, and everything in between.
