Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle

Kagiji Kumanomata

Princess Syalis decides that good behavior may be the key to finally getting a peaceful night’s sleep—but the demons remain suspicious of her unexpected change of heart. Her quest for comfort leads to a series of comic crises, from an inconvenient bathroom outage to a rapidly growing Eggplant Seal and a puzzling transformation of her own. When the Demon Castle launches Hostage Reeducation Week and Syalis visits demon preschool, her unconventional approach to captivity creates fresh chaos and unlikely moments of connection. With its playful fantasy setting, deadpan humor, and inventive sleep-themed misadventures, this volume continues the series’ charmingly absurd exploration of comfort, friendship, and life among monsters.
