Strangely Scary Funny

Brian Yansky

A lively blend of spooky adventure and laugh-out-loud humor, this middle-grade novel follows a young librarian whose new job comes with an unexpected challenge: the library is haunted. As ghostly patrons, strange occurrences, and supernatural surprises disrupt the stacks, the reluctant hero must find the courage and cleverness to keep the library—and its secrets—safe. With its playful scares, eccentric characters, and themes of friendship, responsibility, and facing the unknown, the story launches an entertaining series for readers who like their mysteries delightfully eerie rather than truly terrifying.
