Sunshine Vicram

Darynda Jones

When Sunshine Vicram returns to her hometown of Del Sol, New Mexico, to serve as sheriff, she expects small-town politics—not a kidnapped teenager, a prison escape, and a long list of old secrets demanding her attention. As Sunshine juggles a dangerous investigation with complicated family ties and an undeniable connection to a former flame, her first day on the job quickly becomes anything but ordinary. Blending sharp humor, romantic tension, and fast-paced mystery, this series opener explores resilience, loyalty, and the unruly bonds of a close-knit community.
