Tubby Dubonnet Mysteries

Tony Dunbar

This first collection of five Tubby Dubonnet mysteries introduces a New Orleans lawyer whose sharp instincts, compassion, and knowledge of the city’s tangled legal and social worlds draw him into cases far more dangerous than they initially appear. Moving through the city’s vivid neighborhoods, its distinctive culture, and its shadowy undercurrents, Tubby confronts crimes shaped by greed, deception, violence, and long-buried secrets. Tony Dunbar combines atmospheric Southern setting, intelligent legal intrigue, and understated humor to create a compelling series centered on justice, conscience, and the complexities of human nature.
