The Vorrh Trilogy

Brian Catling

Beyond the colonial settlement of Essenwald lies the Vorrh, an immense and mysterious forest said to distort time, memory, and the human mind. When explorers, soldiers, and outsiders venture into its depths, they encounter ancient powers, strange creatures, and forces that challenge the boundaries between history, myth, and nightmare. Blending dark fantasy, surrealism, and colonial-era adventure, the novel explores obsession, identity, violence, and humanity’s uneasy relationship with the natural world. Its richly imaginative prose creates a haunting, dreamlike epic unlike any conventional fantasy.
