The Yellowstone Event

Darrell Maloney

Beneath Yellowstone National Park, a sleeping supervolcano holds the potential to unleash one of the most devastating natural disasters in American history. When signs of an impending eruption emerge, the nation must confront the threat of widespread destruction, cascading infrastructure failures, and an unprecedented refugee crisis. Blending scientific possibility with gripping speculation, this fictionalized account explores how ordinary people, communities, and institutions might respond when disaster strikes on a continental scale. The story raises urgent questions about preparedness, leadership, resilience, and whether a nation can endure an event no one can prevent.
