Öland Quartet

Johan Theorin

On the stark, windswept island of Öland, an elderly man returns decades after his young son vanished without a trace, determined to uncover what truly happened. As old memories resurface and long-buried secrets begin to emerge, the island’s tight-knit community is forced to confront its past. Blending a haunting mystery with evocative descriptions of landscape, family, grief, and local folklore, this atmospheric crime novel explores how the dead can continue to shape the lives of the living.
