Alan Brennert

Alan Brennert is an American author, television producer, and screenwriter born in 1954. He writes historical fiction, including Honolulu, which follows a young Korean woman who travels to Hawaii as a picture bride in 1914, and Moloka'i, the first book in its series. He also wrote The Heart of a Woman, which, like his other fiction, is set in the past.
