Jodi Picoult is an American writer, born in 1966, whose family sagas often turn on moral dilemmas that pit relatives against one another. Picoult's novels include My Sister's Keeper, Nineteen Minutes, and Small Great Things, and the work takes on subjects such as abortion, the Holocaust, assisted suicide, and school shootings. Picoult received the New England Bookseller Award for fiction in 2003 and has also written several issues of Wonder Woman.
