Julie Falatko's books include Snappsy the Alligator (Did Not Ask to Be in This Book), a funny, meta-minded picture book about an alligator who ends up in a story he never agreed to star in. Its jokes about how stories work make it a natural read-aloud. The Great Indoors is a work of contemporary fiction.
