Snappsy the Alligator (Did Not Ask to Be in This Book)
Description
Snappsy the alligator is having a perfectly ordinary day—until he’s suddenly pulled into a book he never agreed to be in. As the story unfolds, Snappsy tries to regain control of his situation, only to discover that the rules of storytelling are stranger than he expected. With playful, kid-friendly humor and a clever, meta twist, this picture book explores themes of choice, agency, and how we navigate unexpected changes. Julie Falatko’s lively, rhythmic storytelling and expressive character energy make this a fun read-aloud that invites young readers to think about authorship, audience, and the power of “no.”
