M.P. McDonald's books are spy-flavored thrillers built around the Mark Taylor series. The opening novel, No Good Deed, follows a photographer whose antique camera shows disasters before they happen, and whose attempts to warn people land him in trouble with the government. It mixes science fiction, psychological suspense and political tension. The first two Mark Taylor books are also gathered in a single volume.
