Description
When photographer Mark Taylor discovers that an antique camera can reveal images of disasters yet to come, he is compelled to act—despite knowing no one may believe him. After his warnings about a devastating terrorist attack are dismissed, his attempts to intervene place him under government suspicion and strip him of the rights he thought every citizen possessed. Imprisoned as an enemy combatant, Mark must fight to prove his innocence while confronting questions of fate, moral responsibility, and how far authorities may go in the name of security. Blending speculative suspense with political intrigue, the novel explores the cost of doing the right thing when good intentions look like guilt.
