Margarita García Robayo

Margarita García Robayo is a Colombian novelist and writer, born in 1980 in Cartagena on the Caribbean coast. Her books include several novels, short story collections, and a volume of autobiographical essays, and her collection Cosas peores won the Casa de las Américas Prize in 2014. Fish Soup gathers stories and two novellas about people longing to escape their circumstances and themselves, while The Delivery leans into magical realism.
