Peter James

Peter James's books are crime fiction, mostly detective thrillers built around Detective Superintendent Roy Grace. Titles such as Dead Simple, Not Dead Enough, Dead Man's Time and You Are Dead carry the series along, and Dead If You Don't pits Grace against a case tied to a businessman's gambling debts. Nearly every title plays on the word "dead", and the mood runs from police procedural to psychological suspense.
