Reed Farrel Coleman's books are Jesse Stone crime novels, detective fiction with a noir edge, built around the police chief of the small town of Paradise. Robert B. Parker's Blind Spot sends Jesse to a reunion with his old baseball teammates, where old regrets surface just as a young woman's murder and a missing son of a prominent family demand his attention at home. Robert B. Parker's The Devil Wins continues the series.
