Constable Evan Evans has traded the bustle of city life for the seemingly tranquil Welsh village of Llanfair, only to discover a community brimming with eccentric characters and simmering rivalries. As he navigates the complexities of his new home, from competitive ministers to a mailman with a penchant for gossip, Evans is quickly drawn into a perplexing case that rivals any he faced in the city.
