Black Wings

Description

Madeline Black is an Agent of Death, guiding the departed into the afterlife while navigating the dangerous—and often darkly amusing—world of angels, demons, ghosts, and other supernatural powers. When her already complicated existence is thrown into turmoil, Maddy must confront threats that challenge her role, her loyalties, and her understanding of the forces surrounding her. Blending urban fantasy, horror, sharp sarcasm, and emotional stakes, the novel launches a series filled with tragedy, mystery, and larger-than-life beings. It is an engaging introduction to a heroine whose grim profession is matched only by her determination to survive it.
