Description
Born without a father in a society ruled by bloodlines, nineteen-year-old Talyn Batur has defied every expectation to become an elite fighter and major in the Andarian air force. When he enters a contract to bring Felicia Orfanos into his life, their arranged companionship offers the possibility of love—but also exposes them to enemies eager to exploit his lack of lineage and her family connections. As prejudice, military politics, and cultural expectations threaten their future, Talyn and Felicia must decide how much they are willing to risk for one another. Blending sweeping science-fiction world-building with romance, action, and themes of identity, loyalty, and defiance, the story follows two outsiders challenging a society determined to keep them apart.
