Description
In the remote Scottish Highlands, a wealthy and notoriously cruel prankster gathers his family for a supposed deathbed farewell, only to be found dead himself shortly after. Constable Hamish Macbeth is tasked with unraveling the mystery, facing a house full of uncooperative relatives who seem to have had ample motive. As Hamish navigates the icy landscape and the even colder hearts of the suspects, his own past love, Priscilla Halburton-Smythe, complicates the investigation. With his signature blend of wit and native cunning, Hamish must uncover the truth before the killer strikes again.
