The weakest of the three (some of it due to the different translator, who loses some texture). The bigger issue is pacing, the Wallfacer project eats more of the book than it earns. Still essential for where it leaves you: the dark forest itself is the franchise's best idea. This is not to underrate the book, it in and of itself is one of the best SF books ever written.
