Description

In the seemingly peaceful town of Autumn Harbor, seventeen-year-old Jason Demers is accused of sending his girlfriend over a third-floor balcony, and the evidence appears to leave little room for doubt. Criminal defense attorney Spencer Dunn, a former forensic scientist, sees troubling gaps beneath the town’s certainty and takes on a case shaped by conflicting loyalties, family power, and hidden motives. As he investigates, buried grudges and dangerous secrets begin to surface, placing Spencer in the path of forces determined to keep the truth concealed. This tense legal thriller explores the fragility of justice, the weight of reputation, and the risks of challenging a community’s carefully constructed version of events.
