Description
In the serene waters of 1797, the handsome and innocent Billy Budd boards the HMS Bellipotent, a ship rife with tension and the looming threat of mutiny. His natural goodness and striking appearance quickly draw the attention of both the benevolent Captain Vere and the sinister Master-at-Arms, Claggart. When Claggart falsely accuses Billy of inciting rebellion, the young sailor finds himself ensnared in a web of deceit and moral ambiguity, forcing Captain Vere to confront a devastating choice between justice and order.
