Description

Charley Davidson, a grim reaper with a sharp wit and sharper instincts, faces her most dangerous challenge yet when twelve of hell's deadliest beasts escape onto the mortal plane with one goal: her demise. As she battles these infernal creatures, Charley must also unravel the mystery of her father's disappearance, confront a haunting ex-friend, and navigate a wave of unexplained suicides that has authorities stumped. Caught between her responsibilities as the world's protector against evil and the surprisingly difficult task of keeping a goldfish alive, Charley discovers that growing up might be her greatest challenge of all. With her drop-dead sexy fiancé attracting unwanted attention and everything she thought she knew about her father crumbling, Charley must find a way to save the world before the forces of darkness consume it. Darkly humorous and action-packed, this sixth installment in Darynda Jones's beloved paranormal series proves that even a grim reaper can have an impossibly bad week.
