Description
Stephen King's iconic novel plunges into the chilling depths of the Overlook Hotel, an isolated and malevolent force that preys on the fragile psyche of its new winter caretaker, Jack Torrance. Driven by a desperate need to reclaim his life and sobriety, Jack moves his family into the sprawling, empty hotel, unaware of the sinister forces that seek to exploit his vulnerabilities. As the hotel's dark influence grows, it targets his young son Danny, whose psychic abilities, known as "the shining," make him a beacon for the hotel's evil. The ensuing psychological horror explores themes of alcoholism, domestic strife, and the terrifying descent into madness, all set against a backdrop of crushing isolation.
