In the early 1980s, the man of two faces, the Sympathizer, flees a war-torn Vietnam not for America, but for the vibrant streets of Paris. Having survived a harrowing journey, he and his blood brother Bon seek to build a new life amidst the city's bohemian underbelly. Yet, the ghosts of his past and the political turmoil of the era threaten to unravel his carefully constructed existence, forcing him to confront his dual nature and the true meaning of commitment. This gripping narrative delves into themes of identity, loyalty, and the enduring struggle for belonging in a world that constantly seeks to define him.
